Third appointment for lovers of vintage and design of the 50s and 60s with our Corner Mix, a composition of products from our catalog of modern art.
In this third corner mix we have created a cozy and modern living room mixing styles and origin of the furnishings.
The sideboard is central, which stands out for its teak veneer and sinuous shapes; It is a piece of furniture of English production but strongly influenced by the Danish style of the 60s.
The sideboards spread from the 50s in Northern Europe and immediately enjoyed considerable success thanks to their small size: they replaced the bulky sideboards and buffets that filled the houses of the time.
The light point is a lamp with three pendants in blown glass and brass structure, produced by the Venini glassworks between 1950 and 1959 and designed by the Italian master of design Massimo Vignelli.
A guru of graphic design, Vignelli still influences anyone approaching the discipline thanks to the amount of his successful works, including the Ford logo designed in 1966 or the map of the New York subway designed in 1972.
As for production, in 1921 the Milanese lawyer Paolo Venini and the Venetian antique dealer Giacomo Cappellin – with the artist Vittorio Zecchin – gave life to an ambitious project that is still innovative today.
Change of traditional schemes, openness to the artistic avant-gardes and mastery of processing techniques are the secrets of Venini, which has become a leading company in the sector and a fundamental contribution to the famous Venetian glass tradition.
The armchair, on the other hand, is a modern bergére that can be traced back to the roaring 80s, characterized by continuous and sinuous lines, a guarantee of comfort and relaxation.
